Voice, not Accent

Speak to connect, not just to inform

“The best communicators don't just transfer information — they create shared meaning.”

My professional journey began in 2001, where I built a career in corporate training working with professionals at every level to help them communicate with greater impact and authenticity. I travelled extensively across the length and breadth of India. Linguistically, it means I worked with professionals who spoke English as their first, second, third and even fourth language. I worked extensively in Hindi, and delivered my programmes bilingually. When I made the decision to move to Germany and rebuild my career from the ground up, I took on, among other things, a challenge to work in a second language which I had not heard growing up in India. From interpreting for law enforcement to training engineers and teaching at universities, I have had to learn how to make my voice heard and respected in an entirely new linguistic and cultural context. What I have learned along the way is that the key to effective communication is not about erasing your accent, but about claiming your unique voice. It's a lesson that forms the core of my work.

The Approach

My programme Voice, not Accent empowers participants to overcome any communication barrier and communicate effectively by:

  • Addressing inhibitions
  • Building confidence
  • Learning to structure the message for maximum impact and clarity
  • Adapting style to different cultural contexts and audiences
  • Using their unique background and experiences as a strength

Who It's For

Among the programmes I offer, Voice, not Accent holds a special place. It is a distillation of my own journey as an Indian professional navigating the global business world. In this programme, we dive deep into the science and art of effective communication. We challenge the notion that there's only one "right" way to speak English.

Whether you are:

  1. An individual looking to boost your career prospects
  2. An organisation seeking to empower your diverse talent
  3. Executives in leadership positions
  4. Managers communicating with customers and their teams

Voice, not Accent is more than just a communication skills training. It is a space for reflection, empowerment, and transformation. It is an invitation to reimagine your relationship with your own voice, and to claim your place on the global stage.
